How to Check Your 2021 WAEC Result

Here is a step-by-step process on how candidates that sat for the just concluded West African Senior School Certificate Examination can check their results either via text message or online.

Mr. Patrick Areghan, the Head of National Office, West African Examination Council (WAEC), who announced the results in Abuja on Monday said candidates that who are not owing the council can now check their results, while those candidates indebted will not have their results uploaded.

His said: “The results are being uploaded on the results website. Candidates who sat the examination and who have fulfilled their financial obligations to the Council can access their performance on the Council’s results website: www.waecdirect.org. Needless to restate fact that the results of indebted candidates/Schools/States will not be released until they pay up.

“The Result Checker PIN and Serial Number required by candidates to check their results online are contained on the Candidate’s Smart Identity Card used during the conduct of the examination. Certificates of candidates whose results have been fully processed and released will be ready within the next 90 days, counting from today.” He said.

HOW TO CHECK 2021 WAEC RESULTS THROUGH TEXT MESSAGE

Candidates can now check their results through their smartphones, according to the examination body.

Candidates that sat for the examination are to send an SMS as shown below:

For example: WAEC*4250101001*123456789012*2021

Candidates are advised to follow the stated format.

The result will be delivered to their mobile phone at N30 cost.

2021 WAEC Results: How To Check Your WAEC Result Online

1.  Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number.
(This is your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789)

2.  Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year eg. 2021

3. Select the Type of Examination

4. Enter the e-PIN Voucher Number

5. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your e-PIN

6. Click “Submit” and wait for the results window to come up
