Stock Exchange Gained N9bn as Nigerian Breweries, Intl Breweries, Unilever Close in Green

The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) gained slightly on the back of Nigerian Breweries, the International Breweries, Unilever and others on Friday to close the week on a positive note.

The market capitalisation of listed equities increased by N9 billion from N13.149 trillion it closed on Thursday to N13.158 trillion on Friday. While the NSE All-Share Index expanded by 0.07 percent to settle at 25,221.87 basis points, up from 25,204.58 bps.

Investors exchanged 158.620 million shares valued at N1.754 billion in 3,194 transactions on Friday, against 179,549 million shares worth N2.526 billion transacted in 3,055 deals on Thursday. See the details below.
