Saudi Pro League powerhouse Al Hilal is preparing a renewed bid to sign Nigerian international and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, as the club intensifies efforts to secure a marquee signing ahead of the 2025/2026 season.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Al Hilal has not abandoned its pursuit of Osimhen despite the player rejecting a move just 10 days ago.
The Saudi club, backed by the country’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), remains determined to secure the signature of the prolific forward and is reportedly finalising a fresh proposal.
“Al Hilal are not giving up on Victor Osimhen as they want to submit a new proposal to the player. Osimhen rejected 10 days ago but Al Hilal insist,” Romano posted on Monday via X.
Osimhen, 25, remains one of the most sought-after strikers in global football, following consecutive standout seasons in Serie A. While he is currently contracted to Napoli, the club has signalled willingness to listen to offers meeting its valuation, believed to exceed €100 million.
Al Hilal’s pursuit of Osimhen aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader strategy of attracting top-tier international talent to strengthen the league’s global commercial appeal.
