New Naira Designs: CBN To Issue New N200, N500, N1000 Notes By December 2022

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Wednesday said it has redesigned some Naira notes.

Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of CBN, made the announcement while responding to questions from the press. According to the governor, the new designs will be in circulation effective December 2022.

He, however, advised Nigerians to take old notes to banks and exchange them for new notes.
