As several beneficiaries of Npower are receiving their July stipend, the management of Npower has disclosed that payment for the August stipend will begin soon.

Investors King learnt that Batch C, Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries will soon receive their August allowance as they are getting set to exit the program. 

Batch C, Stream 2 beneficiaries of may however not receive another stipend after August. Although, they are hopeful that Npower’s management will extend their exit period. 

A few of the affected beneficiaries who spoke to Investors King are praying for the extension of the programme for another six months. 

A beneficiary with the name Alade Okunola stated that he is hopeful that NASIM, which is the management of Npower will extend their duration till after the election in order to gratify batch C Stream 2 beneficiaries to vote for the ruling party.

He said, ” I don’t think we will exit the program this year. You know that the 2023 election is around the corner.  So, I am hopeful that they will extend our duration for at least another six months”. 

Meanwhile, Investors King had earlier reported that NASIM has started paying the July stipend for batch C, Stream 2 beneficiaries. 

A number of beneficiaries have started receiving their July stipend while NASIM is trying to resolve all issues with payment delay.

A message which NASIM sent to one of the Npower Batch C, Stream 1 beneficiaries partly read ” We apologise for the issue you have with your stipend. Please note that our technical team are currently working on resolving all backlogs payment.” 

NASIM is the management organ for all the federal government social intervention programmes which include Npower, Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP), National Home Grown School Feeding Program (NHGSFP) and the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT).
