The management of Ardova Plc has failed to file the company’s audited financial statement for the year ended December 31, 2021.
According to the company, the delay was caused by Ardova’s acquisition of Enyo Retail & Supply Limited on November 15, 2021, and the incorporation of Ardogreen Energy Limited on December 6, 2021.
In a statement obtained by Investors King, the company confirmed plans to release its audited financial statement on or before April 30, 2022.
The statement reads, “The Board and Management of Ardova Plc (“the Company”) hereby inform Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), the Company’s shareholders and the general public that the filing of the Audited Financial Statements of the Company for the year ended 31st December 2021 (“2021 AFS”) would be delayed.”
“This delay is occasioned by the Company’s recent acquisition of Enyo Retail & Supply Limited which was concluded on 15 November 2021 and the incorporation of Ardogreen Energy Limited concluded on 6 December 2021, a joint venture for the exploration of a marginal field partly awarded to Ardova Plc by the Nigerian Upstream Regulatory Commission (NURC).”
“In view of the foregoing, the Company will take all necessary steps to file the 2021 AFS on or before 30 April 2022.”
