Ahmed Umar Shuaib, Zenith Bank Executive Director, Increases Stake in the Bank by N27.27 Million

Another Zenith Bank Executive director, Ahmed Umar Shuaib, increased his stake in the leading bank by acquiring an additional 1,212,160 shares of the bank on Monday March 22, 2021.

According to the disclosure statement signed by Michael Osilama Otu, Company Secretary/General Counsel, Zenith Bank, the transaction took place on March 22, 2021 at the Nigerian Stock Exchange in Lagos, Nigeria.

Shuaib purchased 1,212,160 shares at N22.50 a unit or increased his holdings in the financial institution by N27.27 million.

The transaction was after Ebenezer Onyeagwu, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive officer, Zenith Bank dumped N112 million on 5 million shares in four different transactions on Friday March 19, 2021.

Similarly, Temitope Fasoranti and Dennis Olisa both executive directors of the bank acquired 1 million shares and 2 million shares, respectively.

Zenith Bank declared a final dividend of N2.70k for the financial year ended December 31, 2020 following strong earnings.
