Elumelu Buys Another 6.98m shares from UBA

The Chairman of United Bank for Africa Plc, Mr. Tony O. Elumelu, on Tuesday bought another 6,980,426 ordinary shares of the bank a day after he purchased 62,643,500 shares.

The Chairman has now purchased a total of 69,623,927 shares in the month of July alone.

In the statement signed by Bili A. Odum, Company Secretary, UBA, and published on the Nigerian Stock Exchange’s website on Tuesday, the bank said Mr. Elumelu bought the shares at an average price of N6.15 per share on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 from the Nigerian Stock Exchange trading floor in Lagos, Nigeria.
