- COVID-19: 838 People Died in 24 Hours in Spain
Spain on Sunday announced 838 deaths due to coronavirus to bring the total number of deaths to 6,528, according to the country’s health ministry.
Accordingly, the number of confirmed cases in the country has now reached 78,797 after a 9.1 percent jump in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, in Nigeria, the total number of confirmed cases rose to 97 on Sunday, according to the nation’s centre for disease control.
A breakdown of cases by states shows Lagos has the highest number of confirmed cases at 59; FCT- 16; Ogun- 3; Enugu- 2; Ekiti- 1; Oyo- 7; Edo- 2; Bauchi- 2; Osun-2; Rivers-1; Benue- 1 and Kaduna- 1.
