  • US Economy Creates 155,000 Jobs in November

The world’s largest economy U.S. created 155,000 jobs in November, less than the 198,000 widely expected by economists.

Wage growth grew by 3.1 percent year-on-year, while monthly earnings climbed 0.2 percent. Still, the unemployment rate held at 3.7 percent, the lowest since 1969.

The previously reported number for October was revised down from 250,000 to 237,000, suggesting a possible slowdown in the labour market.

However, the Federal Reserve said on Wednesday that the labour market remained strong and positive.
