The world’s third richest man, Warrent Buffet who raised $3.46 million last week for a San Francisco based charity, provided additional detail of the anonymous bidder who won the bid.

“The one thing I will tell you, because we’re in this crowd: It’s a woman,” the billionaire chairman of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. said Tuesday at the United State of Women conference in Washington. “The record now is co-held by a woman.”

Buffett, 85, has so far held 17 annual auctions for Glide and raised $23.6 million in total.

The winner is allowed to invite up to seven friends to dine with Buffett at the Smith & Wollensky steak house in Manhattan.

All topics are regarded as fair game, except where Buffett will invest next.
