Nigerian Exchange Limited Closed Flat on Tuesday Following N71 Billion Decline on Monday

Nigerian Exchange Limited remained in the bearish zone as more stocks closed flat on Tuesday following a N71 billion decline on Monday.

Investors traded 197,279,568 shares valued at N1.921 billion in 3,567 deals during the trading hours of Tuesday, against a total of 187.24 million shares worth N2.89 billion that were traded in 4,017 transactions on Monday.

The Nigerian Exchange Limited All-Share Index closed flat at 37857.24 index points on Tuesday, the same points it closes on Monday.

While the market capitalisation of listed equities also remained largely unchanged at N19.724 trillion, the same value as Monday.

NCR (Nigeria) Plc led gainers with N0.24 or 9.64 gain to settle at N2.73 a unit. This was followed by Wemabank’s N0.07 or 9.46 percent gain to close at N0.81 per unit. See the details below.
