Naira Exchange Rates - Investors King

Naira exchanged at a record-low against leading foreign currencies on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 on the parallel market, known as the black market.

The local currency traded at N505 to a United States Dollar, the same rate it was sold on Monday. Against the British Pound, the Nigerian Naira remained flat at N708 a unit, the exact rate it has been trading since Thursday, July 8, 2021. Against the Euro, the Naira remained at N595, N2 below N593 it traded on Friday.

On the Nafex window, the Central Bank of Nigeria’s adopted forex window, the Naira gained 0.06 percent on Monday N411.75/$1, from N411.5 it sold on Friday.

However, at the bureau de change section, the Naira remained under pressure amid low liquidity but rising demand across key sectors. Naira traded at N500 against the United States Dollar, N710 against the British Pound and N600 against the Euro.
