Stock Investors Gained N709 Billion on the Nigerian Stock Exchange

Stock investors in the Nigerian Stock Exchange gained N709 billion on Tuesday as buyers continue to increase their holdings across the board.

The Nigerian Stock Exchange market capitalisation gained N709 billion from N14.402 trillion it closed on Monday to N15.111 trillion on Tuesday. The largest profit in a single day in recent years.

The Nigerian Stock Exchange Index, the NSE All-Share Index, gained 4.92 percent to 28,909.37 basis points.

Investors traded 749.468 million shares valued at N9.495 billion in 8,075 transactions during the trading hours of Tuesday.
