Heineken Brouwerijen Increases Stake in Nigerian Breweries

Heineken Brouwerijen B.V, a foreign substantial shareholder in Nigerian Breweries Plc, purchased another 233,110 shares in Nigerian Breweries.

In a statement signed by Uaboi G. AGBEBAKU, Company Secretary for Nigerian Breweries, Heineken Brouwerijen purchased the shares in two transactions at the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) floor last week.

Heineken Brouwerijen purchased 166,470 shares on September 2, 2020 and 66.640 shares on September 3, 2020 at N39.99 and N39.89 per share, respectively.

Heineken Brouwerijen has been increasing its stakes in Nigerian Breweries since May and has bought about over 800 million shares.
