  • 64 New Cases of COVID-19 Reported in Nigeria, Total 1337

The number of COVID-19 infected people rose by 64 to 1337 in Nigeria on Monday, according to  Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

A break down of the 64 new cases revealed that 34 more cases were confirmed in Lagos, the commercial capital of the nation. While 15 were reported in FCT, 11 in Borno, 2 in Taraba and 2 in Gombe.

“As at 11:20 pm 27th April- 1337 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria,” the NCDC states.

Accordingly, the total number of people discharged so far rose to 255 on Monday while the number of people who have died due to the virus hit 40 on Monday.
