President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday, February 23, cast his vote alongside his wife Aisha Buhari in Kofa Baru, Sarkin Yara ‘A’ ward in Duara, Kastina State at exactly 8:10 a.m Nigerian time.

The President is hoping Nigerians will return him back to office after four years of numerous challenges.

A total of 91 political parties are participating in the 2019 general elections, however, only 72 of the parties have presidential candidates.

Nigerians are therefore expected to vote from a list of 72 presidential candidates and 6584 National Assembly candidates on February 23.

According to INEC, 84,004,084 people registered to vote in 2019 elections, higher than the 67,422,005 recorded in 2015.

But only 72,775,502 Nigerians collected their Permanent Voter Cards.
