The Federal Government on Friday declared Tuesday, August 21 and Wednesday, August 22 as this year’s Eid-el Kabir public holiday, the Ministry of Interior said in a statement issued by Mohammed Umar, the Permanent Secretary of the ministry.

“The Federal Government has declared 21st and 22nd August as public holidays to mark the 2018 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.”

The government wish Nigerians a happy Eid-el-Kabir celebration and urged Nigerians to support the government in its efforts to foster a peaceful and united Nigeria.
