- FG Didn’t Shut Radio Continental, Says Management
The management of TVC Communications has said that the Federal Government never shut down the radio arm of the company – Radio Continental – for any breach of the broadcasting law or any other reason.
It stated this on Sunday, contrary to reports in the media that there was a clampdown on the station, which was politically motivated.
The company’s management rather said, “Radio Continental switched seamlessly last night (Saturday night) at 10pm to become 102.3 Max fm, which is aimed at a 15-34 year old audience and promises to play non-stop hit music for the young people of Lagos.”
