The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, has lauded President Bola Tinubu’s economic policies as the solution to stabilizing local businesses and restructuring the country for growth.

In a statement shared to Investors King by the Air peace boss on Friday, December 13, after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, on Thursday, lamented that many Nigerians are not aware of the enormous benefits that accompany the policies of the President.

Onyema particularly commended Tinubu’s Minister of of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, for the giant strides which are evident in the country’s aviation industry.

He expressed satisfaction with Keyamo’s reforms in the aviation sector, emphasizing the need for Nigerians to support the government and indigenous investments.

According to Onyema, many people who lack business insights may not understand the outcome of the reforms initiated by the President.

The Air Peace CEO stated: “The President is a businessman, and he is trying to stabilise businesses with his policies, but people don’t realise this. Some of us in business understand what the President is trying to do, and we appreciate him, especially in the aviation industry.

“What he is doing is the real restructuring of the country. Many Nigerians think restructuring means dividing the country along regional lines, but what Tinubu is doing is genuine restructuring by changing how we operate as a nation to achieve better results in the long term.”

Onyema’s statement comes amid the high cost of living and economic hardship in the country.

It should be recalled that on November 7, Nigeria’s Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, hailed Nigerians for enduring the hardships caused by the economic reforms of President Bola Tinubu.

During an interactive session with the Senate Committee on Finance at the National Assembly in Abuja, Edun highlighted that these reforms have begun to yield positive results.
