The Federal Fire Service (FFS) has called on Nigerians who applied for its 2024 recruitment process to visit the Board’s official website to check their names on the final list of successful candidates and proceed to the next stage.

In a statement signed by the Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), Ja’afaru Ahmed, on Saturday, December 7, the FFS announced that successful applicants would be able to access the website from Monday, December 9, 2024.

Ahmed advised successful candidates to print their invitation letters after confirming their names on the list.

The statement reads: “The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board wishes to notify candidates who applied for recruitment into the Federal Fire Service (FFS) to visit the Board’s portal at cdcfib.career from Monday, 9th December 2024, to check if they were successful in the final stage of the recruitment exercise and proceed to print their invitation letter.”

For the final stage of the recruitment exercise—Documentation—Ahmed explained that it would take place at the Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau Conference Centre, located within the headquarters of the Nigerian Correctional Service in Abuja.

He emphasized that the exercise, scheduled to run from December 9 to 21, 2024, requires successful candidates to present both the originals and photocopies of their credentials on the dates indicated in their invitation letters.

“Applicants are expected to appear in a white top and shorts and bring along the originals and photocopies of their credentials. They must ensure to appear on the date specified in their invitation letter and strictly adhere to the information contained therein,” he concluded.
