Ethiopian Airlines has reached a significant milestone with the completion of the Gode Ugaas Miraad Airport Terminal project, representing a new chapter in air travel infrastructure within the Somali Regional State of Ethiopia.

The airline announced the inauguration of the terminal in a grand ceremony attended by high-profile dignitaries, including Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and President Mustafe Omer.

The newly constructed terminal, named after Gode Ugaas Miraad, offers state-of-the-art facilities designed to enhance the travel experience for passengers.

With a spacious built-up area of 3,500 square meters, the terminal boasts modern amenities and cutting-edge technology.

Notably, the terminal includes a new apron capable of accommodating up to four De Havilland Q400 or B737 aircraft simultaneously, alongside ancillary structures like an airport rescue and firefighting station and parking areas.

Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO, Mesfin Tasew, expressed his satisfaction with the completion of the project, highlighting its significance in elevating domestic airport facilities.

The airline’s commitment to enhancing airport infrastructure underscores its dedication to providing seamless and convenient travel experiences for passengers.
