Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc has announced May 20, 2026, as the payment date for shareholders listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) following its previously declared final dividend for the 2025 financial year.
In a corporate disclosure issued on Tuesday, the financial holding company stated that the dividend settlement for its LSE-listed shareholders will be made in United States dollars in line with its earlier announcement released on March 31, 2026.
The company had previously confirmed the applicable currency exchange rate for the dividend payment in a separate corporate action notice dated April 30, 2026.
GTCO said the latest notice was issued to formally communicate the payment date to affected shareholders on the London market.
The announcement reinforces the group’s continued commitment to maintaining transparent communication with its domestic and international investors as the company expands its cross-border shareholder engagement.
GTCO remains one of Nigeria’s most actively traded financial institutions with dual market visibility through its listing on the Nigerian Exchange Limited and participation in the London market.
The banking group has continued to attract foreign investor interest due to its strong earnings profile, consistent dividend history and expanding financial services operations across Africa.
The notice was signed by the Group General Counsel and Company Secretary, Erhi Obebeduo.
