NASD OTC Exchange has admitted Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc’s Series 12 commercial paper to its over-the-counter market, a key milestone under the company’s ₦300 billion Commercial Paper Issuance Programme.

The admitted paper has a face value of ₦96,673,370,000 and is scheduled to mature on Wednesday, 18 March 2026, according to a disclosure by NASD Plc on Tuesday.

The listing provides secondary market visibility for the short-term debt instrument and supports broader liquidity and price discovery within Nigeria’s debt market.

Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc is a public limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The company refines raw sugar into Vitamin A–fortified and non-fortified granulated white sugar for the domestic market and delivers value-added services across logistics, supply chain management, credit and risk advisory, sales, and merchandising.

The admission of the Series 12 paper underscores Dangote Sugar Refinery’s continued use of the commercial paper market to diversify funding sources, manage working capital, and align short-term financing with operating cash flows.

For investors, the NASD admission enhances transparency and tradability within the OTC framework.

NASD’s move aligns with its mandate to deepen Nigeria’s capital markets by facilitating access to alternative funding instruments for corporates while expanding investable options for institutional and qualified investors.

Market participants will monitor pricing dynamics and turnover on the admitted paper as issuers increasingly leverage the commercial paper market amid evolving liquidity conditions.
