Presco Plc has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited, shareholders and stakeholders of changes to the composition of its Board of Directors, including the appointment of a new Non-Executive Director and updates to executive leadership within the SIAT Group.
In a disclosure dated January 12, 2026, the company announced the appointment of Adewale Arikawe as a Non-Executive Director, effective January 2, 2026.
The appointment fills a casual vacancy on the Board and will run until the company’s next Annual General Meeting.
Arikawe succeeds Mr. Felix Nwabuko, who is retiring from the Board after several years of service. Presco Plc acknowledged Nwabuko’s contributions to the company and the wider SIAT NV group, citing his role in supporting growth and long-term value creation across the group’s operations.
In addition to joining the Presco Board, Arikawe has also been appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of SIAT, with oversight responsibility for all subsidiaries within the group, including Presco Plc, SIAT Nigeria Limited and Ghana Oil Palm Development Company Limited.
In this role, he will work with existing management teams to strengthen execution, accelerate strategic growth and drive operational performance across the group.
Presco said Arikawe brings more than 26 years of leadership experience spanning general management, commercial strategy, sales, customer development and brand management.
His career includes senior leadership roles at Royal FrieslandCampina across Sub-Saharan Africa and at FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria.
He has also held senior management positions at Nestlé Nigeria Plc, where he was involved in multi-channel sales operations and strategic growth initiatives.
Arikawe holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Chichester and has completed executive education programmes at London Business School and IMD Business School in Switzerland, with a focus on leadership, execution excellence and business impact.
The Board of Presco Plc said it welcomes Arikawe’s appointment and looks forward to his contributions to the company and the broader SIAT Group, while reiterating its appreciation to Felix Nwabuko for his service and legacy.
The notice was issued by order of the Board and signed by Frederick Ichekwai, Company Secretary of Presco Plc.
