First HoldCo Plc Lists 2.58 Billion Shares on NGX Following Private Placement

First HoldCo Plc has listed an additional 2,575,851,543 ordinary shares of 50 kobo each on the Daily Official List of Nigerian Exchange Limited, further expanding the company’s issued share capital.

The newly listed shares, which became effective on Monday, January 5, 2026, were issued from the company’s recently completed private placement.

The placement involved the issuance of 3,276,923,077 ordinary shares of 50 kobo each, priced at ₦32.50 per share.

Following the admission of the new shares to trading, the total issued and fully paid-up share capital of First HoldCo Plc has increased from 41,877,841,591 ordinary shares to 44,453,693,134 ordinary shares of 50 kobo each.

The listing represents a significant expansion of First HoldCo’s equity base and reflects the company’s successful execution of its capital-raising strategy through private placement.

By increasing the number of shares admitted to trading on the NGX, the group has enhanced its free float and strengthened its balance sheet, positioning itself for future growth and strategic initiatives.

The Nigerian Exchange Limited has notified Trading Licence Holders of the development for records and market updates, confirming that the additional shares are now fully tradable on the Exchange.
