Champion Breweries Opens Rights Issue of 994.22 Million Ordinary Shares at N16 on NGX

Champion Breweries Plc has commenced trading on its 2025 Rights Issue, offering 994,221,766 ordinary shares of 50 kobo each at a price of N16.00 per share on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX).

According to the notification issued to Trading Licence Holders, the offer opened on Monday, November 24, 2025, following the company’s approval to raise new equity through a structured issuance programme targeted at existing shareholders.

The Rights Issue is being offered on the basis of one (1) new ordinary share for every nine (9) ordinary shares held as at the close of business on Thursday, September 4, 2025. The process allows qualifying shareholders to take up additional shares at a predetermined price, strengthening the company’s capital position ahead of its operational plans for 2026.
