Dangote Industries Limited (DIL) has confirmed plans to unveil a new range of products and industrial innovations at the 2025 Lagos International Trade Fair, as the conglomerate intensifies efforts to strengthen its market presence and expand consumer engagement across Nigeria’s manufacturing sector.
The company said its participation in this year’s fair will focus on product innovation, improved quality standards, and value addition across its major business segments, including Dangote Sugar Refinery, Dangote Cement, NASCON Allied Industries, and Dangote Salt.
The initiative aligns with the Group’s long-term strategy of driving import substitution and supporting the government’s industrialisation agenda through sustainable local production.
According to Dangote Industries, the Lagos Trade Fair offers a strategic opportunity to showcase its latest consumer and industrial products while interacting directly with distributors, retailers, and end-users.
The company noted that the event will also serve as a platform to highlight ongoing investments aimed at enhancing efficiency, packaging, and product accessibility across its nationwide distribution network.
The Group’s management said innovation remains a key pillar of its growth strategy, adding that product diversification and customer-focused improvements are essential to maintaining competitiveness in Nigeria’s evolving manufacturing landscape.
“The Lagos Trade Fair provides an important platform for us to demonstrate how innovation and investment in local capacity continue to shape our product offerings and support Nigeria’s industrial growth,” a company spokesperson said.
Industry analysts view Dangote Industries’ participation as a reflection of renewed confidence in Nigeria’s domestic manufacturing environment, particularly amid reforms targeted at improving foreign exchange stability, infrastructure, and energy supply.
They also note that the company’s consistent presence at the fair underscores its focus on brand visibility and consumer retention in a high-inflation economy.
Organised by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), the Lagos International Trade Fair remains the largest exhibition of its kind in West Africa.
The 2025 edition, scheduled to run from November 7 to 17 at Tafawa Balewa Square, will feature exhibitors from manufacturing, agriculture, energy, technology, and financial services.
Dangote Industries said it plans to engage stakeholders during the fair through live demonstrations, product presentations, and business networking sessions to strengthen distribution channels and reinforce customer relationships.
The company’s participation comes as part of its broader strategy to deepen its footprint across fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and industrial markets while supporting Nigeria’s self-sufficiency goals. With investments spanning cement, sugar, salt, fertilizer, and petrochemicals, Dangote Industries continues to play a central role in the country’s drive for industrial diversification and export competitiveness.
Analysts say the Group’s focus on product innovation and consumer engagement reflects its readiness to consolidate leadership in both industrial and consumer segments.
The showcase at the Lagos Trade Fair is expected to draw attention from key industry players, investors, and trade partners seeking opportunities within Nigeria’s expanding manufacturing ecosystem.
