Jaiz Bank Appoints Ahmed Indimi and Nike Kolawole to Board, Strengthens Leadership Bench

Jaiz Bank Plc has confirmed the appointments of Ahmed Mohammed Indimi as Non-Executive Director and Nike Kolawole as Independent Non-Executive Director.

In a statement filed with the Nigeria Exchange Limited (NGX), the Bank disclosed that Indimi’s appointment took effect on April 14, 2025, while Kolawole’s appointment became effective June 11, 2025.

Both appointments have received approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Ahmed Indimi, a prominent entrepreneur in Nigeria’s energy industry, currently serves as Director and Head of Crude Marketing at Oriental Energy Resources.

He is responsible for overseeing commercial operations, crude sales strategy, pricing negotiations, and stakeholder engagement. Indimi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (Internet Security) and an MBA from the American InterContinental University, Atlanta.

His addition to the Board aligns with Jaiz Bank’s drive to broaden its industry expertise and reinforce its ethical banking commitment.

Nike Kolawole brings over two decades of experience in global investment banking and oil and gas finance. She has held senior positions at Merrill Lynch, Citibank, Goldman Sachs, and Credit Suisse, with extensive responsibilities covering asset management, credit risk, and Eurobond issuances across global markets.

She later joined the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), where she rose to become Group General Manager, LNG Investment Management Services, spearheading major project finance initiatives including the award-winning 2012 RDP Funding transaction.

Kolawole holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Suffolk University, Boston, and an MBA from Durham University Business School, UK. She is also a registered member of the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

The Bank said both directors would contribute fresh perspectives critical to its long-term growth.
