Tesla has raised the price for all its Model Y cars by $1000 in the United States, according to the statement released by the company.

According to the Tesla website, the base variant of the Model Y will now be priced at $44,990, while the long range and performance variants will cost $49,990 and $53,490, respectively.

This hike follows Tesla’s announcement in March of their intention to raise prices for the Model Y by $1,000 effective April 1.

The increase comes amid ongoing fluctuations in the automotive market and supply chain challenges, with Tesla citing various factors contributing to the adjustment.

This move underscores the dynamic nature of pricing strategies in the automotive industry and the impact of market conditions on consumer costs.
