Npower has commenced the payment of both the November and December stipend for Batch C, Stream 2 beneficiaries. The unexpected payment is coming a few weeks after Npower paid October stipend.
A number of the beneficiaries have attested to the news that they have received their second stipends payment, though the payroll tab on the NASIMS portal for some beneficiaries has not been activated
Findings also show that the beneficiaries who have received their monthly stipends have taken to the social media platform to share the joy.
Beneficiaries who received their payment said that the payment was paid into their account without them noticing it.
A beneficiary named Eric John wrote, “It’s great news to finally be credited. I have received my November and December allowance. Thank you Npower. God bless Nigeria”.
A message posted on the Twitter page of Npower read, “Hello Batch C Stream 2 Beneficiaries. Please be informed that payments have commenced. The process is ongoing, and every eligible beneficiary would get paid. Kindly drop a comment here with your location and bank name if you have received it”.
Despite the overwhelming joy, Investors King gathered that several qualified beneficiaries are yet to receive their stipend. The affected beneficiaries who were assured of being paid in the next few days called for an expedition of the process.
The management of Npower further assures that all beneficiaries will be paid including those who have backlogs owing to technical issues.
Meanwhile, some beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s Social Investment Programme in Bauchi State have commended the President, Muhammadu Buhari for fighting poverty through the scheme, which they said has contributed to their small-scale businesses.
While addressing journalists, the leader of the group, Mubarak Ahmed said Npower and other social intervention programs of the Federal Government have millions of people including himself.
Apart from Npower, other intervention programmes of the FG include Conditional Cash Transfer, Home Grown School feeding, Trader Moni and Market Moni.
