Dangote Industries Limited, a prominent sponsor of the 44th Kaduna International Trade Fair, has called for increased engagement to boost trade in Kaduna State and its environs.
The fair, which officially opened last weekend with the theme “Promoting Value Addition for Economic Growth and Development,” coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture.
In a statement seen by Investors King, the company announced that participants seeking to do business with any of its subsidiaries can avail themselves of the opportunity through a special help desk at the pavilion. The Director-General of the Chamber, Usman Saulawa, lauded Dangote Industries for being a major sponsor of the fair, adding that its participation has been adding value to the chamber.
Saulawa described this year’s fair as unique and special, with a business round-table session that will further help deepen business opportunities for the participants. This year’s fair has attracted foreign companies from Niger, Mali, Pakistan, Senegal, and Egypt, among others, creating a platform for local and international businesses to explore and establish new trade relationships.
The President of KADCCIMA, Suleiman Aliyu, described the partnership with Dangote Industries as very important for deepening commercial activities in the country. He also emphasized the need for increased engagement and cooperation among stakeholders, adding that such collaboration is critical to the growth and development of the Nigerian economy.
