Black Friday 2021: Jumia Promise Earth Shattering Deals

Black Friday may have started as a colloquial term for the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, it is now big in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

A day in which stores offer highly promoted sales at discounted prices.

Major online stores in Africa, one of which is Jumia, have tapped into the huge potentials of Black Friday and are now offering products to their customers at discounted prices every year.

Jumia Black Friday is the biggest online shopping event in Africa. It is a period in which Jumia makes it possible to enjoy the best deal online by selling a series of products at discounted prices.

This year’s edition of Jumia Black Friday started on the 5th of November 2021 and ends on the 30th. The main event is on the 26th of November 2021.

You may have heard us say this, but this time we really mean it. This Jumia Black Friday is the biggest on yet! How do we mean? Well, how about the fact that every Friday, we are bringing an explosion of amazing discounts you cannot get enough of,” Jumia has said.

Here are the line-up events for this year’s Jumia Black Friday:

  • Treasure Hunt: Customers can hunt for a discounted item (up to 99% off) which will be hidden in a category. The fastest and luckiest finger to find and purchase the items wins. However, participation in the treasure hunt is only through the official Jumia App. It is happening every midnight/6 pm every Friday from 5th-30th November.
  • Friday Rush Hour: Happening on Friday at 12noon for an hour. You can get 20% off selected brands.
  • Flash Sales: Happening 12 am, 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, 4 pm, 6 pm every Friday starting from 19 November at 10:00 am. It also comes with discounts.
  • Wheel of Fortune: Customers will have the chance to spin the wheel to win N200,000 vouchers and other amazing prizes.
  • Live Videos: During the video section on Facebook, Jumia has promised giveaway.

Jumia Black Friday promises free delivery for those that use its App. The free delivery is limited to Lagos, Abuja, PHC, Ibadan, Abeokuta.
