Stock Investors Gained N8 Billion on Wednesday

Nigerian stock investors gained N8 billion on Wednesday as more stocks closed in the green.

Investors traded 197,231,557 shares worth N2.139 billion in 3,610 deals during the trading hours of Wednesday, against a total of 197,279,568 shares valued at N1.921 billion in 3,567 deals during the trading hours of Tuesday.

The market value of listed equities gained N8 billion from N19.727 trillion recorded on Tuesday to N19.732 trillion on Wednesday. While the Nigerian Exchange Limited All-Share Index rose by 0.04 percent to 37872.55   index points on Wednesday, up from 37857.24 index points recorded on Tuesday.

Capital Hotel Plc led gainer with N0.24 or 10 percent to settle at N2.64. NCR (Nigeria) Plc followed with N0.27 or 9.89 percent gain. See the details below.
