The Nigerian Exchange Limited closed flat on Tuesday as traders remained cautious across the board.

Investors traded 229,009,903 shares worth N2.730 billion in 3,678 transactions during the trading hours of Tuesday. While the Nigerian Exchange Limited All-Share Index closed at 37,640.75 index points, the same point it closed on Monday.

The market value of listed stocks stood at N19.621 trillion, below the N20 trillion mark, an indication of the market’s long-term bearish trend. Link Assurance led gainers with 10 percent while Ikeja Hotel followed with the same 10 percent. See the details below.
