Nigerian Exchange Limited Rebounds Slightly on Tuesday

The Nigerian Exchange Limited rebounded from a long bearish trend on Tuesday to close in the green as more stocks emerged gainers.

Investors traded 218.515 million shares valued at N1.590 billion in 3,630 deals during the trading hours of Tuesday. While the Nigerian Exchange Limited All-Share Index gained 0.50 percent from 38,686.4 index points recorded on Monday to close at 38,881.7 index points.

The market value of all listed equities appreciated by N102 billion from N20.164 trillion it settled on Monday to N20.266 trillion.

Okomu Oil led gainers with 10 percent to close at N106.15 per share.  Learn Africa followed with 9 percent to settle at N1 a share.
