MRS, Vitafoam, Others Lead Gainers as Nigerian Exchange Limited Closed in Green

The Nigerian Exchange Limited closed in the green on Monday following days of a bearish trend.

Investors traded 201.857 million shares valued at N2.119 billion in 3,827 transactions during the trading hours of Monday.

The Nigerian Exchange Limited All-Share Index gained 0.47 percent to close at 38,437.88 index points.

The market value of listed equities rose above N20 trillion to settle at N20.035 trillion.

MRS led gainers with 9.57 percent or N1.10 to close at N12.60 a share. This was followed by Vitafoam’s 8.91 percent or 90 kobo to settle at N11 per share. See the details below.
