NGX Extends Bearish Trend on Tuesday, Loses N148 Billion

The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) extended its bearish trend on Tuesday as more stocks closed in the green.

Investors traded 204.647 million shares valued at N1.839 billion in 3,940 deals during the trading hours of Tuesday. While the market capitalization dipped to 39,022.52 index points.

The market value of listed equities declined by N148 billion from N20.487 trillion it closed on Monday to settle at N20.339 trillion on  Tuesday. See the details below.
