Wema Bank Declares 4k Final Dividend in 2020

Wema Bank Plc, one of Nigeria’s leading financial institutions, announced a final dividend of 4 kobo per ordinary share for the period ended December 31, 2020.

In the corporate actions announcement signed by Johnson Lebile, Company Secretary, Wema Bank.

According to the lender, payment will be made to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on the 12th day of May 2021.

On payment, dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at May 12, 2021 and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their bank accounts.

However, Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form, which is also available on the Registrar’s website: http://www.gtlregistrars.com, complete and submit to the Registrar or their respective banks.
