BUA Cement Dividend 2021: BUA Cement Declares N2.067K Final Dividend for 2020 Financial Year

BUA Cement Plc, the second-largest cement manufacturing company in Nigeria, has announced a final dividend of N2.067 kobo per ordinary 50 kobo share for the period ended December 31, 2020.

The leading cement manufacturing company recorded a profit after tax of N72.344 billion in 2020 and grew revenue from N175.518 billion posted in 2019 to N209.443 billion in 2020.

According to the statement signed by Ahmed Aliyu, Company Secretary, BUA Cement Plc, only shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on July 9, 2021 will be paid.

The stated amount will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at July 9, 2021 and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.

The Register of Shareholders will be closed on July 12 to July 16, 2021.

However, shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form, which is also available on the website of the Registrars www.africaprudential.com, complete and submit to the Registrar or their respective Banks.
