Bitcoin Rose to $55.707 Per Coin on Friday

The world’s most dominant cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, blasted through $55,000 per coin level to set a new all-time record at $55,707.21 on Friday as more funds flow into the crypto space.

In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin grew by $3,206.05 or 6.18 percent from $51,881.80 per coin to $55,707.21. Bringing the coin’s total returns in 2021 to 87.66 percent.

Investors carried out 317,446 transactions valued at $13.32 billion at an average transaction fee of $23.98 in the last 24 hours.

Bitcoin pulled back to $55.083 per coin as of 8:48 pm Nigerian time on Friday.
