Bitcoin Hits $28,352.63 Per Coin On Sunday, Sets a New Record
Bitcoin sustained its bullish run despite global uncertainties and the possibility of regulators going after the unregulated cryptocurrency market.
The world’s most capitalised digital asset blasted through the $25,000 psychological level to hit all-time record of $28,352.63 per coin in the last 24 hours, representing 4.51 percent or $1,165.60 gain from $25,843.05 it opens the session.
Bitcoin has now gained 272.10 percent in 2020, making it top performing asset of 2020 ahead of gold and other traditional assets.
In the last 24 hours, investors performed 277,615 transactions valued at $5.13 billion with an average fee per transaction hovering around $6.80.
Bitcoin market capitalisation rose to $503.205 billion. Presently, Bitcoin is trading at $26,965.59 per coin.
