Investors Gain N20 Billion on Wednesday

Investors at the Nigerian Stock Exchange gained N20 billion on Wednesday as the Exchange sustained its bullish momentum.

The market capitalisation of listed stocks expanded from N13.194 trillion it closed on Tuesday to N13.214 trillion on Wednesday. While the NSE All-Share Index gained 0.15 percent to settle at 25,330.10 basis points, up from 25,291.73 bps it closed on Tuesday.

Investors exchange 180.733 million shares worth N1.355 billion in 3,411 transactions during the trading hours of Wednesday.

In terms of volume traded, Fidelity Bank led with 26.568 million shares valued at N47.272 million. This was followed by UBA with 19.478 million shares worth N125.969 million. See the details below.
