Consolidated Hallmark Lists 2,032,500,000 Shares on NSE Daily Official List

Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Plc plans to raise additional funds from the capital market, according to the latest press release from the insurance company.

In the press release signed by Godstime Iwenekhai, Head, Listings Regulation Department and published on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, the company said 2,032,500,000 ordinary shares of 50 Kobo at 52 Kobo on the basis of 1 new ordinary shares for every 4 shares held as at February 3, 2020.

The statement reads “Dealing Members are hereby notified that additional 2,032,500,000 ordinary shares of Consolidated Hallmark Insurance (the Company) were today, Thursday, 20 August 2020 listed on the Daily Official List of The Nigerian Stock Exchange (The Exchange).

“The additional shares listed on The Exchange arose from the Company’s Rights Issue of 2,032,500,000 ordinary shares of 50 kobo each at 52 Kobo per share on the basis of 1 new ordinary shares for every 4 ordinary shares held as at 3 February 2020. The Rights Issue was 100% subscribed.”

Consolidated Hallmark Insurance stated that with the new listing, the total issued and fully paid-up shares of the company has now risen to 10,704,500,000, up from 8,672,000,000 ordinary shares.

With this listing of the additional 2,032,500,000 ordinary shares, the total issued and fully paid up shares of Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Plc has now increased from 8,672,000,000 to 10,704,500,000 ordinary shares of 50 kobo each.
