NCDMB Commissions Nigerian Content Tower on Thursday

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) on Thursday commissioned the Nigerian Content Tower in Bayelsa.

Speaking at the virtual event, Mele Kyari, the Group Managing Director, NNPC, said President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is very proud of the project and will continue to support the NCDMB.

In the speech shared on NNPC official Twitter handle @NNPCgroup, Kyari said “Mr. President, @NNPCgroup is very proud to be associated with the #NCTower Project. We will continue to support the Management of @OfficialNCDMB in delivering the value that is required in this country.”

“We know that this country has potential, Mr. President. This industry doesn’t discriminate. Where skills and capacities are found, they can be exported anywhere in the world.”

Delivering his speech at the virtual event, President Buhari said “I commend the NCDMB for the success it has recorded in the past 10 years.

The tower is a 17 story building powered with a 10-megawatt gas-fired plant built by the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC) to ensure 24/7 power supply.
