NSE Closed Flat Despite Sterling Bank, Glaxosmith, Caverton Closing in Red

The Nigerian Stock Exchange closed flat on Wednesday following days of bearish trends.

The NSE All-Share Index remained unchanged at 24,173.53 basis points, the same points it closed on Tuesday. While the market capitalisation of listed equities stood at N12.610 trillion.

During the trading hours of Wednesday, investors traded 402.636 million shares value at N4.554 billion in 3,252 deals, against the 304,185 million shares worth N3.268 billion traded in 3,500 transactions on Tuesday. See the details below.
