President Muhammadu Buhari through the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 has relaxed restrictions imposed on places of worship.

Boss Mustapha, the Chairman, PTF, disclosed this on Monday during the daily briefing of the panel in Abuja.

According to Mustapha, who is also the Secretary to Government of the Federation, the restriction imposed on inter-state travel remains in place.

He said, โ€œThere is a ban on gatherings of more than 20 people outside of a workplace.

โ€œRelaxation of restriction on places of worship based on guidelines issued by the PTF and protocols agreed by state governments.

โ€œManaged access to markets and locations of economic activity to limit the risk of transmission;

โ€œBan on inter-state travels except for the movement of agricultural produce, petroleum products, manufactured goods, and essential services;

โ€œMandatory use of non-medical face masks in public places;

โ€œMandatory provision of handwashing facilities/sanitisers in all public places.โ€
