FG to Close Motor Parks, Ban Inter-state Travel

The Federal Government may start closing motor parks and ban inter-state travel in a move to curb fast-spreading coronavirus in Nigeria.

Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, disclosed this in an ongoing press briefing in Abuja on Thursday.

“It is now time for enforcement,” he said.

The total number of confirmed cases in the country rose to 51 on Thursday, according to a statement published by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
