  • FG Confirms Five Additional Cases of Coronavirus

The Federal Government on Wednesday confirmed five new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria just three days after the third case of the virus was confirmed.

Osagie Ehanire, the nation’s Minister of Health, made the disclosure during a press briefing in Abuja on Wednesday.

He said three of the new victims returned from the United States of America, a mother and Child. The third person was an American that came into the country through the land border.

Four of the cases are from Lagos while the last one is from Ekiti.

The Federal Government had issued a travel ban on 13 countries on Wednesday to contain the spread of the virus after a Nigerian lady that traveled from the United Kingdom tested positive to the virus on Monday.
