  • FG Commences Sale of Savings Bond on Monday

The Federal Government has started selling its savings bond on Monday, according to the Debt Management Office (DMO).

Two-year savings bond was offered at 11.244 percent while a three-year savings bond was on offer for 12.244 percent per annum.

In an offering circular released on the DMO website, the two-year bond will mature in October 2021 while the three-year bond will be due in October 2022.

The DMO did not state how much was offered but said maximum subscription was N50 million at N1,000 per unit, subject to a minimum subscription of N5,000 and in multiples of N1,000.
